About

Several things separate A Child&aposs World from all other preschools and child care centers. We are led by a team of experts in child development education family systems parenting and mental health. We also have several teachers with bachelors or masters degrees. Our program was developed by Owner Dr Art Willans to provide a learning experience for young children that is positive engaging and optimal for development. Rachel Stafford is the Director at A Child’s World and has been affiliated with this program since 1998. She has served previously as teacher director trainer training coordinator and consultant. Rachel graduated with an AA degree and has 34 years of experience in early childhood education in the Greater Reno-Sparks area. She has collaborated with Dr. Willans in the implementation of Interactive Teaching. Dr. Art Willans holds a bachelor and master of science in education and a Ph. D. in Developmental and Child Psychology. He operates A Child&aposs World Pre-school and Child Development Center where he has refined his revolutionary methods for teaching children.
