About Automotive Aftermarket Retailers Of Ontario
Automotive Aftermarket Retailers of Ontario (AARO) is a not-for-profit trade association founded in 1939, representing and supporting independent businesses in Ontario's automotive service industry. With a network of over 450 independent repair garage owners and 10,000 technician members across Ontario, AARO advocates on behalf of its members at the provincial government level and works to address industry challenges around regulation, vehicle data access, and consumer choice. Membership is open to professional automotive service businesses as well as associate members including parts suppliers, equipment companies, insurance providers, and training organizations. AARO offers members access to education and training, legal assistance, vehicle repair lien registration, government relations support, and exclusive savings on operational services.
